Romance and candles meets copper and industrial. Swoon! I admit, I was unsure of how to make this color palette work in the beginning. It took some careful flower choice. But in the end, I was able to choose the perfect flowers to make this rust and copper wedding at Tenth Ward Distillery work.

I chose cafe au lait dahlias, Rust Bucket dahlias, burgundy roses, burgundy and bronze amaranth, copper orchids, white roses, and white snapdragons to tie all these yummy colors together.

One of my favorite things about being a Frederick florist are the industrial distillery spaces. This venue, Tenth Ward, has a gorgeous reception space upstairs that is full of red brick and exposed metal beams in the ceiling. This is such a fun place to decorate because I think it’s fun to bring in all the soft florals to juxtapose with the more industrial feel of the walls. I also custom built my copper arch for this space and I think it’s perfect against the brick walls! It also has a stairway that’s fun to decorate.

I love knowing that there are local farms that have the perfect color flowers, no matter what color palette my bride’s request. The Rust Bucket Dahlias I used in this wedding were a must-have and I feel so grateful to have had these local farms around me to make this wedding perfect!
