Alicia’s dreamy travel themed wedding took place at Stone Manor Country Club. She wanted soft peaches and pinks, combined with mint green greenery. Since she was married in the fall, I was able to source the Queen of the wedding flowers (in my humble opinion), the Cafe au Lait dahlia. I’m lucky enough to live in an area that gives me access to local flower farms so not only were her flowers beautiful, but many of them were sourced from a local farm, Plantmasters!
Alicia’s bouquet was made up of Cafe au Lait dahlias, astilbe, dusty miller, wheat celosia, succulents and seeded eucalyptus.
The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, with succulents, Juliet garden roses, several kinds of pink roses, astilbe, lisianthus, and seeded eucalyptus. They were tied with blush and mint ribbons.
Just as important as the bouquets are the boutonnieres, and these little bundles were made from succulents, seeded eucalyptus and astilbe, and tied with twine. The groom’s even had a little dahlia bud in it!
This wedding was travel-themed, so the ceremony area was decorated with piles of vintage luggage. I hung jars of flowers that were decorated with maps on the chairs! Inside the jars were pink hydrangea, lisianthus, dusty miller, astilbe and white and pink roses.
The centerpieces were centered around travel as well, so a small floral arrangement was paired with a globe, a picture of a travel destination, and a decorative suitcase.
Can we just talk about this dress for a few minutes? All those romantic ruffles!!
I loved these little details that tied in the color palette with the travel theme!
This dress!! That mirror!!
