Classic blush and white late fall wedding at Woodend Sanctuary

May 6, 2024

This wedding happened in the late fall, and was a beautiful transition into winter. We used magnolia leaves and mixed ferns and vines to go with the classic white and blush blooms for this classic blush and white late fall wedding at Woodend Sanctuary.

For the bridal bouquet, we used orchids, mixed roses and other white accent flowers for texture to go with the foliage.

I got to flower SO MANY adorable little people for this wedding – 8 in all, I think! We did headbands for the youngest girls, wands and crowns for the older girls, and boutonnieres for the littlest boys. I loved how much this couple wanted to include these littles into their ceremony, and they even had the oldest girls pulling a wagon with the littlest babies down the aisle!!

For the ceremony and indoor dancing space, we used magnolia and smilax foliage, as well as mixed white and blush roses and larkspur. The ceremony took place in the grove of trees just outside the mansion. Instead of a large arch, the couple opted for beautiful urns filled with florals, which I think was an elegant alternative to an arch that would’ve competed with the trees. The staircase inside the mansion is just screaming for greenery and a floral end-cap. It’s the perfect way to compliment a mantle installation.

Woodend has a gorgeous portico that is perfect for cocktail hour, which we decorated with simple bud vases, and each table was decorated with a frosted footed bowl filled with white and blush roses and mixed ferns and magnolia. Gold votives were the perfect finishing touch to this classic blush and white late fall wedding.

Here are a few more of my favorites from the day.
